Engineering Mathematics

This is a service course aimed at enginnering majored students. We will ypically discuss Fourier analysis and transformations, Fourier integrals, Sturm-Liouville problems, solving wave, heat and Laplace equations as prototypes of linear second order pde. The second part of the course discusses functions of complex variables, their derivatives and analyticity, harmonic functions, integration and mostly the residue theorem for integration.
